Software engineering for SMEs

Software builtto the shapeof your business.

Most companies bend their operation to fit the software they bought. We do the opposite. QinNexus formulates one system per client — sized for a small or mid-sized business, and shaped to the vertical it actually operates in.

01

The problem with
buying somebody else's system.

An SME has the same operational complexity as an enterprise and a fraction of the budget to absorb a bad fit. The two usual options both fail — in opposite directions.

What most companies buy

Off-the-shelf SaaS

Cheap to start. Then you discover the one workflow that actually makes you money isn't supported — so it moves into spreadsheets, and the software becomes a filing cabinet you pay monthly for.

  • Your process gets rewritten to match the tool
  • Local compliance is an afterthought
  • Data locked behind an export button

What the big vendors sell

Enterprise ERP

It can do everything, which is the problem. A twelve-month rollout, a consultant on retainer, and 80% of the licence paying for modules nobody in a 40-person company will ever open.

  • Implementation costs exceed the licence
  • Change requests take quarters, not days
  • Training burden falls on your staff

What we build instead

A formulated build

An enterprise system, customised to your business — at an SME price.

We map how your business actually runs, then build only that — using the same proven components across clients in your vertical, assembled to your operation. You get depth where it matters and nothing where it doesn't.

  • Built around your process, not against it
  • Local compliance handled from day one
  • Your data is yours — export it whenever you want

We optimise your process. It stays your process.

Your spreadsheet is not the problem — it is the prototype. It proved the process works. It just cannot do it for forty people at once, or tell you the truth at month end.

What stays yours

  • The sequence of steps, as you actually run it
  • Who decides what, and at which point
  • Your terminology, your rules, your exceptions
  • The judgement calls that make you competitive

What we change

  • Spreadsheets become data that cannot be overwritten
  • Keying the same figure in three places becomes once
  • One person's laptop becomes shared, backed up, auditable
  • "Ask the person who knows" becomes a report anyone can run
02

One formula
per vertical.

We don't start from zero every time. Each industry we serve has a known composition — the modules that carry the weight, and the local integrations that are non-negotiable. Select one.

01 / 07

Retail & Point of Sale

Multi-branch retailers who outgrew a cash drawer and a stock sheet. The system has to survive a busy Thursday evening, keep every branch honest about inventory, and still close the month cleanly.

Typical scope mix

  • Point of sale & cash control30%
  • Inventory & stock movement25%
  • Purchasing & suppliers18%
  • Loyalty & customer records15%
  • Reporting & margin analysis12%

Local integrations

  • JoFotara e-invoicing
  • eFAWATEERcom
  • Card terminals
  • Barcode & label printers
  • Arabic receipts

03

What we
actually build.

End to end, in-house. The same team that scopes the work writes the code and supports it in production.

01

Custom business systems

The core operational platform — inventory, orders, production, patients, students, fleet. Built to your workflow, with the reporting your managers ask for on day two.

02

Web applications & portals

Customer portals, supplier portals, booking systems, internal dashboards. Fast, responsive, and bilingual Arabic/English with proper RTL where you need it.

03

Mobile applications

Field, delivery and customer-facing apps for iOS and Android — offline-capable where the work happens outside a good signal, and tied back into the same system.

04

Integration & automation

Connecting what you already run — accounting, e-invoicing, payment gateways, delivery aggregators, hardware. Removing the double entry that quietly costs you a salary a year.

05

Cloud, hosting & DevOps

Deployment, backups, monitoring and disaster recovery — hosted in the cloud or on your premises when data residency requires it. You get uptime, not a server to babysit.

06

Support & evolution

Software isn’t finished at launch. A defined support agreement, a named engineer, and a roadmap that keeps pace with how your business changes.

04

Proven parts.
No surprises.

Everything here is widely adopted, well documented and straightforward to hire for. If you ever replace us, your next team already knows it.

  • Next.js

    Web framework

05

How a build
runs.

Four stages. You see working software early and you approve scope before anyone writes production code.

  1. 01

    Discover

We sit with the people doing the work — not only the people who signed the contract. We document the real process, including the spreadsheet workarounds, and identify where the money leaks.

    1–2 weeks
  2. 02

    Blueprint

A written scope, clickable screens, an architecture, a fixed price and a delivery plan. If we’re not the right fit, this is the stage where we say so — and you keep the blueprint.

    2–3 weeks
  3. 03

    Build

Two-week increments, each ending in something you can open and use. Your data migrated early so you’re testing with reality, not sample records. Training runs alongside, not after.

    8–16 weeks
  4. 04

    Operate

Go-live with us in the room. Then monitoring, backups, a support SLA and a quarterly review of what to build next as the business moves.

    Ongoing
06

Lower cost.
Same judgement.

We build with AI throughout, and we are direct about where it earns its place — and where it has no business making the call.

AI writes at volume. People decide what is worth writing — and what is safe to ship.

AI accelerates

The work that used to consume most of a build's hours, and the part that does not need a decade of experience behind it.

  • Scaffolding and boilerplate
  • Test suites and fixtures
  • Data migration scripts
  • Repetitive refactors
  • Technical documentation

Seniors decide

Architecture and risk are not delegated. A senior engineer or architect owns every decision that is expensive to reverse.

  • Architecture and data model
  • Security and access boundaries
  • Integration design
  • Review of everything shipped
  • Accountability for the outcome

What you pay for

The saving is real because the hours are real. You are not funding the slow parts of software development any more.

  • Fewer billed hours for the same scope
  • Senior attention on every decision
  • No junior learning on your budget
  • Less time from blueprint to first release
  • The same review standard either way
07

Built for
the region.
Built to stay.

QinNexus builds for the Middle East. We work with the companies that keep these economies running — the distributor, the clinic group, the factory, the school, the family retail chain — and we build them the system a company their size deserves.

Working in this region isn't a marketing line here. It means someone is on site when go-live week gets difficult. It means we already know what each market asks of your software — e-invoicing mandates, tax authority filings, local payment rails — and that a system built for one country can cross a border without being rewritten. It means the person who wrote the module answers the phone, in Arabic or English, in your time zone.

Own it

Your data is yours. Export all of it, in a standard format, whenever you ask — at no extra charge.

Ship it

Working software in weeks, in increments you can actually use.

Mean it

Fixed scope, fixed price, and a straight answer when the fit is wrong.

you run.
